Youth Events

September 11 was the kick-off of First Lutheran’s Youth Bash.  What fun was had by all.  There were 9 youth in attendance along with their families.  They enjoyed playing badminton, croquet and having lots of conversations.  Those who were unable to attend were missed.

The youth were powered up with enthusiasm while planning the upcoming activities for the new year.

The youth group decided to meet the 2nd Sunday of the month when possible.  The group will usually meet at the church for most of the activities.  Details will be given out before each monthly activity.  A sign-up sheet is posted on the Youth bulletin board outside the church office.

If you are new to the youth group (must be in at least 5th grade) health and release forms are needed to be filled out and given to the leaders.

Some of the events planned for this upcoming year include: Cedar Cove, holiday baking and gift wrapping, winter swim party, Worlds of Fun, and much more.  It’s going to be a great year so come join the fun.  Invite those you know from fifth grade through college age to come and feel the love of Christ and build friendships with other youth.
