Jody Brown - Support Staff |
Jody (Johnson) Brown, a native Nebraskan, grew up near Ogallala, Nebraska. Graduated in 1974 from Concordia Teachers College (Concordia University) located in Seward, Nebraska and received a call to teach grades 1 & 2 at First Lutheran School in Paola. Jody also taught Kindergarten, grades 1,2,3,4 during her 24 years of teaching at First Lutheran. In 1999-2012, she taught elementary grades at Trinity Lutheran School at Block. Jody is retired and works part-time in the church office and is Sunday School teacher for the 3year olds to third graders.
Jody married Mike Brown in 1977. They have 2 married sons which have a total of 5 grandchildren. Jody and Mike ( who is also retired) enjoy helping out with the grandchildren, and going to their school sports and activities. |
Kris Fuchs - SonShine Preschool Director

Kris Fuchs - Director and Lead Teacher: Kris is a licensed teacher who has 10 years of elementary classroom experience and 14 years of preschool experience. She and her family have lived in the Paola area for nearly 20 years. She is very involved with church and community activities.

Kristal Sparks - Assistant Teacher: Kristal graduated with an elementary education degree form a private Christian college. All four of Kristal's children attended SonShine Preschool!

Brenda Box- As for myself, I grew up in Paola, and I have always enjoyed friends and family. I have taught Sunday school for about twenty years now. I also have worked at the First Baptist Preschool as an assistant teacher. In addition, I have been a physical therapist assistant since May 1994. I enjoy walking and taking pictures of God’s creations, Ice skating, roller skating, bike riding, horseback riding, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, and having fun with friends and family. My favorite sport is gymnastics.
